Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby red, perfectly balanced with refreshing acidity.
The nose goes further with notes of forest floor, graphite and tertiary aromas such as figs, walnuts and vanilla.
On the palate the wine is complex, intense, with firm and ripe tannins, excellently integrated and a very long finish.
Rich in black fruits, combined with dried plum and black cherries, with notes of black pepper, violet, Mediterranean herbs such as thyme.
Ageing potential of over 20 years, developing further tertiary notes.
Vinification Ageing:
Maturation takes place in new and second-passage barrels for a minimum of 18 months.
After blending, it rests for 7 months before bottling.
It ages for a minimum of 14 months in bottle before being released.
